Day three

All is well. Travel is easy and driving is no problem.
We're in Statesville NC. Heading for Jacksonville Fla today. We're right on schedule.
Last night we went to karaoke at Ramada Inn after supper. I sang two songs. Great singers too. Loads of fun.
Taxes on our supper were $1.35 That's right !!!! Why even bother.?
We found a Best Western right off the highway. We're getting smarter.
I  got gas at Citgo and got 10 cents/gal off for cash. 83 cents/litre. So it worked out to 83 cents/litre!!!
Whoppeee!!!!!

Night time on day one

Well we've seen Carson St West in Pittsburg. It makes downtown Hamilton seem nice.
We needed the walk though to loosen the muscles.
We went back t the hotel and went to the Brassiere rest. right next door. Good move.
I had Coq a vin and Aprille had Mako shark on a bed of kale. Excellent.
Paired with a Cab Sauv. Cote de Bourg. Nice!!
Tried to get a night cap for the room....but convenience stores in Pittsburg don'y have spirits(of any kind)
I would have to go t a beer store..really.
So we went to bed a little earlier.
On the road again at  around 0930 after breakfast I want to miss rush hour.
Todays stay will be better planned,and cheaper. I really hate to pay $140 to stay one night.

Day One

Well here we are in Pittsburg. Thought I'd be smart and get south of the city.Wrong!!!
We are in south part of downtown.Great.Pulling a trailer.
But the good news is that trip went without a hitch(except for trailer)
Didn't touch the brake from Buffalo to Pittsburg.
Lunch at Snyder Ont. at the Commercial . Great stuff. If your in the neighbourhood. Also we bought some
outstanding chocolate at Neighs across the street.
We left home at 1pm and landed in Pittsburg at 645pm. Easy day 400 km
Time for a beer!!!

Getting ready

Well, we're almost there. Tomorrow we travel.
Forget packing like it's a camping trip. We're getting trailer.
